Filter Options

The filter panel at the top of Flight Reports allows you to refine your dataset across multiple dimensions. Click "Filter Options" to expand or collapse the entire panel. All filters are cumulative—when you set multiple filters, only flights matching all criteria are included in the report.

Date Range

Narrow your report to a specific time period using two calendar date inputs:

FieldDescription
Start DateExclude flights on or before this date. Shows only flights from the start date onwards.
End DateExclude flights after this date. Shows only flights up to and including the end date.

Flight Conditions

Filter by environmental and operational circumstances:

FilterOptionsMeaning
Light ConditionsAll, Day, NightFilter flights by whether they occurred during daylight or darkness.
Operations ConditionsAll, VLOS, BLOSVLOS = Visual Line of Sight; BLOS = Beyond Line of Sight. Indicates mission scope.
Pilot TypeAll, PIC, Dual, InstructionPIC = Pilot in Command (solo); Dual = multiple pilots; Instruction = training flight.

Flight Duration

Filter flights by their length in seconds:

FieldDescription
Min Duration (seconds)Exclude flights shorter than this value. Example: 60 seconds = 1 minute.
Max Duration (seconds)Exclude flights longer than this value. Leave blank for no upper limit.

Flight Type

Use three toggle buttons to partition flights by whether they are real operations or simulator training:

  • All — Include both physical and simulator flights.
  • Physical Only — Show only real-world operations (subset data for regulatory compliance).
  • Simulators Only — Show only training simulator flights.

UAV Specifications

Narrow data to specific aircraft or manufacturers:

FilterTypeDescription
UAV TypeDropdownExamples: Quad, Tricopter, Hexacopter, Wing, Airplane, Other. Filters by aircraft category.
ManufacturerAutocompleteType or select a manufacturer (autocomplete powered by your registered UAVs). Case-insensitive.
UAV NameAutocompleteType or select a specific UAV by its registered name. Filters to flights using exactly that aircraft.

Motor Specifications

Target aircraft by propulsion type and motor count:

FilterOptions / Notes
Motor TypeDropdown: All, Electric, Piston, Jet, Glider. Filters by propulsion system.
Min MotorsNumeric. Example: 4 = include only multicopters with 4 or more motors.
Max MotorsNumeric. Example: 6 = include only aircraft with 6 or fewer motors. Leave blank for no upper limit.

Sensors

Filter by the presence of onboard sensors. Five numeric input fields appear in a row:

  • GPS — Global Positioning System
  • MAG — Magnetometer (compass)
  • BARO — Barometer (altitude)
  • GYRO — Gyroscope (rotation)
  • ACC — Accelerometer (acceleration)

Enter 0 to require the sensor to be absent, or 1 to require it to be present. Leave blank to ignore that sensor.

Clear FiltersResets all filter fields to their defaults (empty or "All" where applicable).

Tip: Filters are cumulative. If you set Start Date = Jan 1, 2025, Flight Type = Physical Only, and Manufacturer = DJI, the report will show only DJI physical flights on or after January 1, 2025.
