Interface & Navigation
The Log Analyzer interface is organized around four tabs and a shared timeline. Once a file has been parsed, you can move between time-domain traces, raw values, spectrum tools, and setup context without leaving the current log.
Main tabs
- Graph View: compare selected signals over time
- Table View: inspect raw values and aggregate statistics
- Analyzer: inspect the same signal range in the frequency domain
- Setup: verify what firmware and configuration context the log was recorded with
Playback controls
The analyzer provides transport controls for play, pause, frame stepping, jump-to-start, jump-to-end, and playback speed changes. These controls matter most when you are correlating visual motion, motor behavior, and telemetry spikes.
Use normal playback to find an event, then switch to frame stepping for exact inspection. During playback, Table View updates more conservatively than the graph canvas to keep the interface responsive.
Seek bar and range markers
The seek bar shows the current position in the file and supports scrubbing. You can also place IN and OUT markers to isolate a region before switching to spectrum analysis.
- Use markers to exclude takeoff, landing, or disarm sections
- Range selection improves FFT and PSD interpretation by focusing on the interesting part of the log
- Marker precision is limited to the nearest frame
Supporting visual panels
Depending on the file and selected layout, the analyzer can show a craft view and a sticks view next to the main plot. These views help connect motor output and RC input to what you see in the graph.
Multi-log files
Some BBL files contain more than one log. When that happens, UAV Desk shows a log selector so you can choose which recording to inspect. Only one log is active at a time.
