The controller for personal data processed in connection with the UAV Desk service is CarviFPV. For support or privacy inquiries, please use our Contact page.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data when you use UAV Desk. Purposes include operating the service, providing support, processing payments, improving features, analytics, ensuring security and compliance with legal obligations.
We process the following categories of personal data, depending on your use of the Service:
Under Swiss law (Federal Act on Data Protection - FADP) personal data may be processed where necessary for the performance of a contract, with consent, or for other legitimate interests. If you are an EU/EEA resident, the GDPR may apply; where applicable we rely on the legal bases under GDPR (contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests, consent) as described in this Policy.
We use personal data to operate and improve the Service, provide customer support, send important notices, and comply with legal obligations. We may disclose data to our service providers and partners who process data on our behalf under contract, such as Cloudflare, Neon, Clerk, Resend and Vercel. These processors act on our instructions and must implement appropriate safeguards.
Personal data may be transferred to, stored or processed in countries outside Switzerland. Where transfers occur, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual clauses or other measures) to ensure an adequate level of protection in accordance with applicable law (FADP and, where applicable, GDPR).
We retain personal data for as long as required to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Account data and user content are retained while your account is active; when you delete your account we will delete personal data subject to backup cycles and legal retention requirements.
Under Swiss law (and where applicable GDPR), you may have rights to access, rectify, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, obtain portability, and object to certain processing. To exercise rights, contact us via the Contact page. We will verify your identity before responding to requests.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Measures include access controls, encryption in transit, and regular security reviews. However, no internet service is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a personal data breach occurs that creates a risk to individuals’ rights and freedoms, we will notify affected individuals and any supervisory authority as required by applicable law (including FADP/GDPR where applicable) without undue delay.
